Abstract painting

 日本絵画、東洋絵画を基にした抽象絵画の可能性を探っています。

 それは、戦後日本のドメスティックマーケットでみらるような「墨を流し込み、偶発的な表情を禅"的"な思想に結びつける」ような安直なものではなく、「感情的に伝統的な画材を扱い、具体的なモチーフが喪失すること=抽象絵画」という類のものではなく、絵画として必然性を持って、つまり絵画の可能性を拡張するための絵画を東洋としての視座を持って挑戦したいと考えています。

I'm exploring the possibilities of abstract painting based on Japanese and Oriental paintings.

It is not the kind of "pouring ink, it means accidental expressions that are linked to Zen LIKE ideas seen in the post-war Japanese domestic market, nor is it the kind of "emotionally dealing with traditional painting materials, and the loss of concrete motifs = abstract painting" but rather a painting with a sense of inevitability as a painting, a painting that expands the possibilities of painting. In other words, I would like to challenge painting to expand the possibilities of painting from the perspective of the Orient.
