現代のローカルは、グローバルや中央というものすらもローカルの要素の一つとすることで、それを更新させることができます。
印象派以降、「筆跡」は絵画の重要な要素となりました。このシリーズでは、筆跡を伝統的な日本の絵画の中に取り入れることで、それらを現代のものへとアップデートできないかと試みています。
I leave my brushwork as an expression in the flower. Ever since Impressionism, the brush-stroke has become an important element of a painting's composition that allows us to feel the creator's breathing. This continues to this day.
By adding modernity to the traditional Japanese expressions of painting, I explore the possibilities of painting in Japan.
