本画集は、販売数100冊限定で、2月28日(金)から始まるオープンスタジオにご来場の方に優先で販売します。

後にオンラインでの販売も予定しており、3月下旬に販売に関する詳細な情報をSNS等でお知らせします。

We’ll publish Shinagawa’s first art book.

This book will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to visitors to the Open Studio starting on Friday, February 28.

画家・品川亮の初となる画集。本書は、活動初期から現在に至るまでの作品を集約し、画家としての歩みを網羅的に表現した一冊となっている。書籍という媒体を通じて作品そのものを体感できるよう、論考などは含めず、作品のみにフォーカスして構成。また、品川が普段使用している金箔と同じサイズで、実際に作品で用いている和紙を貼付ている。全ページフルカラーで細部に至るまでこだわり、品川自身が監修を担当。

さらに、品川独自の作家活動の方向性から、一冊目となる本画集は出版社を介さず、品川が主宰する「SHINAGAWA STUDIO」より販売数100冊限定として出版し、本年のオープンスタジオにて販売を開始する。

Artist Ryo Shinagawa has published his first art book. It brings together his work from the beginning of his career to the present, and is a comprehensive book that expresses his journey as an artist. This book does not include any commentary, but focuses only on the artwork, so that readers can experience the artwork itself through the medium of a book. In addition, a piece of washi paper, cut to the same size as the gold leaf Shinagawa frequently uses in his work, has been incorporated into the book. All pages are in full color, and Shinagawa himself supervised the materials used in the details.

In keeping with the unique direction of Shinagawa’s artistic activities, this first art book will be published by “SHINAGAWA STUDIO,” which Shinagawa presides over, without going through a publishing company, and will be limited to 100 copies for sale. The book will be available for purchase starting at this year’s open studio event.
